Diamond® C size Dummy batteries for
4, 5 or 6 cell Luxeon® LED Flashlights
Allows the use of 4, 5 or 6 cell flashlights with Luxeon® LED's
that require only 4.5 VDC (= 3x 1.5 VDC Cells/Batteries)
Most Luxeon® LED replacement bulbs will only work with 2-3 cell flashlights unless you use an expensive LED driver to either bring the voltage up (Boost circuit) to 4.5 VDC or to bring it back down to 4.5 VDC (Buck circuit). For 3 watt Luxeon LED's they are very hard to find, if you can get them at all.
Our Diamond® Dummy Battery solution:
Simply add our dummy batteries to any flashlight that has more than 3 batteries and you can maintain the 4.5 VDC required for the proper functioning and long life of the Luxeon® LED!
For example, always use just 3 batteries maximum, then if tyou have a 4 cell flashlight, add 1x Diamond Dummy Battery.
If you have a 5 cell flashlight, add 2x Diamond Dummy Batteries.
If you have a 6 cell flashlight, use 3x Diamond Dummy Batteries to maintain the perfect voltage for your Luxeon® LED replacement bulb.
